Phallic Series

The phallic series is a body of work that was created to explore an element of the male body that is often seen through a sexual context as opposed to its natural beauty of form.  Throughout history, in art, this part of the male body  has either been hidden or made disproportionately small to avoid art work from being regarded as obscene or vulgar. 

Often shrouded by shame and taboo, I want to bring it into the light as a mere natural object, a part of the human body that can be appreciated without shame.
